Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and maintain vehicle functionality by following repair orders or leader instructions.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural malfunctions.
Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing.
Operate and maintain tools such as spray guns, body hammers, and alignment systems.
Read, interpret, and execute service and repair procedures with precision.
Maintain detailed records of service, repairs, and auto body work performed.
Ensure shop equipment operates optimally through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop.

Qualifications
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 4 years of professional experience as an automotive mechanic or auto body technician.
Proficiency in mechanical assembly, electrical diagnostics, and body repair techniques.
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in auto body work and shop environments.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess a personal set of tools with a rolling toolbox.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Strong comprehension of written procedures and ability to execute them effectively.

Preferred:

Certification in Automotive Technology, Collision Repair, or a related field.
ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) Certification(s).
State-specific mechanic or auto body repair certifications.
Valid driver’s license.
Expertise in vehicle alignments, A/C system repairs, refinishing, and structural alignment.
