Job Description: Metas Solutions has an opening for an experienced
Biostatistician to work
Remotely and provide consulting services to the federal government, focusing on public health.
Responsibilities: - Leads and coordinates particularly complex scientific/technical components of large projects or series of smaller projects, with responsibility for the application of advanced biostatistical methods and techniques.
- Serve as a technical expert in clinical investigation methodology, multicenter studies, and biostatistical methods.
- Expert in using advanced SAS techniques for data ETL and performing complex statistical analysis on program and clinical data.
- Leads in preparing analysis plans and writes detailed specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, and tables/figures/listings.
- Advises data management staff on database design, validation checks, and critical data.
- Leads in writing statistical sections of integrated reports.
Qualifications: - Master's degree with ten (10) years' experience (ideally in biostatistics, epidemiology, clinical investigation, OR doctoral training in medicine and graduate training in epidemiology or biostatistics).
- Possess extensive knowledge and experience in clinical trials and epidemiological research.
- At least seven (7) years of statistical programming experience with strong programming skills in SAS, R, Python, and other statistical software is desired.
- Experience in public health is highly desired.
