Prepare detailed architectural, engineering, or manufacturing drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Convert hand-drawn sketches or conceptual designs into detailed 2D or 3D CAD models.
Ensure all CAD drawings and models meet industry standards, company guidelines, and project-specific requirements.
Update and modify existing CAD drawings per design, structure, or client feedback changes.
Maintain a well-organized library of all CAD files, drawings, and related documentation.
Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, and quality control before submission or implementation.
Coordinate with other team members to integrate systems and structural elements into overall design plans.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD-related issues.
Produce material lists, cost estimates, and documentation for procuring parts or construction.
Incorporate feedback from field installations or production to improve future design iterations.
Conduct site visits, when necessary, to gather measurements and ensure designs are feasible in the physical space.
Participate in project meetings to provide input on design feasibility and potential issues.
Keep abreast of the latest CAD software, tools, and best practices to maintain effectiveness and efficiency in the role.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ReviT or similar)
Associate's degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD drafting
Strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Knowledge of industry-specific codes and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong mathematical skills.
Good communication skills for liaising with engineers, architects, and other professionals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience with 3D modeling is preferred.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new technologies and methods.
A portfolio of previous work may be required.
