About the Position:
Our client, a highly regarded Am Law firm, is seeking a corporate securities/capital markets lawyer to join its Chicago headquarters as a mid-level associate. This practice group provides comprehensive capital markets and securities law counseling and represents organizations in all phases of the capital-raising process, from private placements, initial public offerings and secondary offerings to recapitalization and going-private transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Advise public and private companies on a range of capital markets transactions, including registered public offerings, private placements, and offerings under Rule 144A and Regulation S
· Advise clients on SEC disclosure requirements
· Represent clients with M&A and general corporate matters
Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of strong corporate transactional experience, particularly with securities, capital markets and M&A
· Experience working on debt and equity offerings, M&A, and SEC compliance/reporting
· Large law firm experience
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $240,000 - $280,000.
