About this job:

Cheese production requires dedication to sanitary standards and attention to detail. This post is for a reliable full-time team member to support our cheesemaking operations and facility needs with everyday tasks.

Tasks:

• Cleaning and sanitizing of production and refrigeration areas, equipment, dishes, and smallwares
• General cleanup and organization of the facility, stocking up, light inventory, and accepting packages
• Packing, labeling, boxing, and wrapping products and shipments
• Monitoring conditions and filling up checklists
• Assisting cheesemakers in preparation for production and end of production
• Some lifting may be required on occasion

Experience:

Experience is not required but preference is given to those with experience in foodservice, environment, cheese, or those having food safety certifications. You must have a desire to learn.
