Duties may include:
· Responsible for planning, department activities, organizing and assuring financial records are maintained following generally accepted accounting standards.
· Carries out all policies and procedures established by the Governing Board.
Musts:
· Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
· Solid understanding of RCM
· Knowledge of Health Care Accounting practices and principles.
· Experience with more than 200 Bed hospitals
· Acute Care Healthcare system experience
· 6+ yrs experience in hospital accounting/finance
· Management of hospital financial issues related to budgeting, cash management, capital finance, and performance evaluations
· Knowledge of insurance matters, regulations, reimbursement, information systems and health care facility operations.
· CPA is a plus
