Location: Richmond, VA, 23298.
Shift: a 7.5 hour shift between the hours of 6A-8P. Don’t have exact shift yet. Mon – Fri.
Bill Rate: 38K – 48K per year
Education :
Required Education:
-Two (2) year degree in early childhood education, child psychology, psychology or closely related field.
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum of 40 hours of coursework in early childhood education or related field (i.e. Child Psychology, Children’s Literature).
OR
-Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education:
-Bachelors or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Experience specifically working with children six (6) weeks to two (2) years old.
-Familiarity with the Reggio philosophical approach to education for children.
Licensure/Certification:
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate.
