: As a
Chimney Repair Technician Apprentice , you will work alongside experienced
Chimney Sweeps and
Repair Technicians to master the skills required for
chimney repairs, masonry work, and installations . You'll learn how to perform chimney relining, install wood-burning appliances, install gas fireplaces and logs, and conduct masonry repairs. This role involves applying industry standards, safety practices, and delivering exceptional service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
- Physical fitness to handle equipment, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience with basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Previous experience in construction, masonry , or related trades is a plus but not required.
