Job Summary
If you enjoy CNC programming, machining, and problem solving, Yakima Machine is looking to add a CNC Machinist to our team!
In this role you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and ensuring that products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts to customer specifications.
- Write and edit CNC programs manually and using Mastercam
- Perform setups, tooling changes, and adjustments as necessary for production runs.
- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments to inspect finished products for accuracy.
- Collaborate with other machinists to develop tooling solutions that enhance production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience programming and operating CNC lathes and milling machines
- Familiarity with Mastercam and Haas/Fanuc controls a plus
- Knowledge of other metal fabrication processes and welding a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
