Senior Project Manager – OSHPD Level 1 Healthcare Construction
📍 California | 💼 Full-Time | 💰 $150K–$210K+ DOE
Our client is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive OSHPD Level 1 (now HCAI 1) experience to lead complex healthcare construction projects across California. This is a high-impact leadership role with one of the region’s most respected builders, offering the opportunity to manage large-scale, ground-up hospital and medical facility projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day project operations on OSHPD Level 1/HCAI 1-regulated healthcare construction projects.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and risk management while ensuring compliance with state healthcare construction codes.
- Manage all project documentation, subcontractor negotiations, and owner communications.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company, clients, inspectors (IOR/HCAI), and healthcare administrators.
- Coordinate closely with field teams, engineers, architects, and third-party consultants.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction, with 5+ years focused on healthcare/OSHPD Level 1 projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHPD/HCAI codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proven ability to lead multimillion-dollar ground-up or renovation hospital projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Nice to have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
