Compensation: $130,000-$135,000/Year
Job Description: We are seeking an Electronic/Embedded Engineer to join our team. This role is a balanced mix of embedded software and electronic design. As part of a six-person team, you will ensure that all devices are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards. You will work on a variety of tasks, from troubleshooting legacy products to driving innovation in new products and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on coding with C/C++ for firmware design and development.
- Utilize EAGLE and OrCAD for PCB layout, embedded systems design, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards for electrical or electronic systems.
- Collaborate with the team to innovate and improve product designs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience as an electrical engineer or electronics engineer with expertise in embedded software design.
- Proficiency in C or C++ for coding and firmware development.
- Experience in designing PCB layouts for signal routing, power efficiency, and manufacturing.
- Ability to understand and apply safety and reliability standards for compliance.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience in regulated environments (aviation, medical, etc.).
- Experience with design documentation.
- Familiarity with the software lifecycle.
- Python or C# coding skills.
- Experience with EAGLE or OrCAD.
- Experience working in medical devices.
