Overview:
The HB Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing Epic Hospital Billing (HB) systems. This role involves resolving technical and application-related issues, improving workflows, and ensuring the successful design, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of the Epic PB/HB modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and test Epic HB software solutions, incorporating both current and future-state workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in compliance with client change control and change management procedures.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, complex environment while ensuring adherence to project timelines and critical path milestones.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotations as required.
- Contribute to project planning activities and manage assigned deliverables.
- Lead and actively participate in team meetings, discussions, and workgroups to support continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of revenue cycle operational experience in a healthcare setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Epic HB/PB Analyst, with current Epic certification required.
