Job Description
Crowley Signs & Graphics Inc. is seeking a skilled Full-Time Sign Installer and Fabricator to join our team in Houston, TX. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing a variety of signage, as well as assisting with production and scheduling tasks in our shop. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in sign installation and fabrication to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Install window, wall, floor, and vehicle films, dimensional letter/logo sets, directional signs, and low-voltage interior lighted letters.
- Construct wood signs on-site.
- Assist in-shop with sign fabrication and scheduling tasks between installations.
- Operate tools and equipment, including saws, vinyl cutters, and other fabrication tools.
- Apply vinyl graphics and wraps to signs, vehicles, and other surfaces.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sign installation and fabrication required (2+ years preferred).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean background check and ability to pass a drug test.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of sign materials (e.g., vinyl, wood, acrylic, aluminum).
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Basic computer skills for reading digital plans (preferred).
- Experience with electrical components for illuminated signs or vehicle wraps is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders or lifts.
Compensation & Hours:
- Pay: $24–$30 per hour, based on skill and experience.
- Hours: Full-time, 40+ hours per week.
