Job Description:
We are seeking a Design Development Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC climate system designs for passenger vehicles . This role focuses on thermal system design, component development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-performance climate control solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Define & Develop HVAC System Requirements: Establish physics-based component requirements for HVAC units and climate performance.
✅ System Integration & Packaging: Collaborate with packaging teams to align thermal system goals and ensure all critical requirements are met.
✅ Design Updates & Change Management: Implement design updates , process change orders , and coordinate with interface teams to balance requirements.
✅ Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with suppliers to address component issues and ensure seamless communication.
✅ Testing & Validation: Work closely with test engineers to develop and execute test plans for HVAC systems.
✅ Project Ownership: Ensure on-time completion of deliverables, supporting the product development process .
Qualifications & Experience:
✔ 3-5 years of experience in HVAC climate system design for passenger vehicles.
✔ Strong understanding of thermal systems and component integration .
✔ Experience working with cross-functional teams , including packaging, design, and test engineers .
✔ Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve component issues .
✔ Hands-on experience with change management and engineering design updates .
✔ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment .
