Job Description
Title - Bioprocess Associate
Location: East Syracuse, NY - 13057
Schedule: 6 AM–6 PM Day Shift, 36/48 hour alternating weekly schedule (must be available for holidays, weekends, and overtime)
Duration: 6 months to start, possible extension based on performance
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Physical Demands: Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Additional: Must follow strict hygiene and gowning protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and clean manufacturing equipment (valves, hoses, piping, etc.)
- Prepare large-scale (up to 2000L) buffers, media, and reagents
- Monitor equipment and process parameters, report abnormalities
- Maintain precise, accurate documentation of work performed
- Sustain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Develop and maintain proficiency through training
- Safely handle hazardous materials (caustics, acids, steam)
