Whole and Holy Integrative Wellness, a growing holistic mental health and wellness practice in Chambersburg PA has an opening for a licensed massage therapist to enhance our practice and offer holistic health care to the area. Massage Therapist Job Responsibilities:
● Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing.
● Designs specific sessions based on individual needs.
● Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
● Creates excellent client experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
● Performs hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, or other modalities as appropriate, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours.
● Communicates various promotions to clients and participates in marketing efforts.
● Follows all practice policies and protocols.
● Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).
● Completes documentation accurately and completely.
● Performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate:
● Shows warmth and empathy to clients and attunement to their needs
● Displays a high level of competence in his or her practice and interest or experience in holistic health and wellness
● Helps promote health and wellness in and out of the therapy rooms
● Creates a safe, effective environment for clients
● Works collaboratively with other professionals on the team for client care and wellness promotion
● Communicates well in both written and verbal form with clients and team
● Experience in working with trauma victims, other energy or body work modalities a plus
● Participates in growing the practice through various marketing activities
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
● Minimum of 600 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion
● Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License
● Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities
● Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
● Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position
