REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of LCSW or LSW experience Active LCSW and/or LSW Familiarity with Neurological disorders (Parkinson's, Alzheimer) Experience hosting clinic and 1:1 sessions with patients Knowledge of federal, state and local resources to connect patients with for support services.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A large Healthcare/Hospital system local to South Jersey is looking to Hire a LCSW/LSW to their Neuro outpatient department. This person will be responsible for conducting clinic sessions, one on ones with both patients and/or family members. They will also be responsible for connecting patients with state, federal and local resources for insurance, transportation, housing, leave of absence, etc. This person will need to have a strong medical terminology background and experience/familiarity working with patients with neurological disorders (example: Parkinson's, Alzheimer's). They will be documenting and updating patient information in Epic. Onsite 5 days a week Hours: M-F 8am-5pm (flexible)
