JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibilities will include assisting in food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and maintaining a clean workstation. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start their career in the culinary field.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with food preparation and portioning
• Follow standard recipes and cooking methods
• Keep the workstation clean and organized
• Support senior kitchen staff in daily tasks
• Learn and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with the kitchen team effectively

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Food Handler’s Certification (must comply with State requirements)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• The ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift and carry kitchen equipment and ingredients as needed
