Mammography Technologist Full-Time, Day Shift

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Completion of an approved Mammography Technology program.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) license (or temporary license), is required.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R).
- Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M).
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to safely lift/maneuver patients in collaboration with others.
- A strong commitment to advancing health through teamwork, compassion, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise mammography exams, ensuring patient comfort and compliance with radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare and educate patients about the procedure, administer contrast when necessary, and position patients for optimal imaging quality.
- Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and assist with accreditation applications (e.g., ACR).
- Accurately enter and monitor patient data within the system.
- Address emergencies and take on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Adhere to organizational policies, ensuring patient, staff, and visitor safety.
- Serve as a mentor, resource, and preceptor to less experienced staff.
