Job Description
The Licensing Specialist is responsible for supporting all licensing activities with the relevant state and federal agencies for all of Trusted American Mortgage and Yield Solutions group LLC.’s loan originators and companies. The Licensing Specialist provides general administrative support to the Managing member and President as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain NMLS and state licensing information including new branch set up for all loan originators.
- Track continuing education requirements for all licensed loan originators.
- Work with and gathers information from Loan Originators for licensing and renewal purposes.
- Respond to all internal and external requests as they relate to above referenced duties.
- Track the progress of the license in NMLS and keep the appropriate parties informed of any obstacles.
- Act as the primary backup when other members of the licensing team when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of licensing experience within the mortgage industry.
- 2-5 years’ general mortgage industry experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to licensure of originators.
- Extensive knowledge of the NMLS licensing system.
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience using mortgage related systems, preferred.
