Job Description
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support and modernize internal applications used by lab personnel. This role is primarily back-end focused (80%), with some front-end responsibilities (20%). You will work on both legacy and new systems, contributing to specimen management applications that are critical to their diagnostic operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications in .NET (Core 3.1+ / .NET 5 and up) using C#.
- Support legacy .NET Framework 4.5 applications while contributing to modernization efforts.
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and server-side logic.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures (SQL Server).
- Contribute to limited front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Provide production support (40%) to ensure smooth lab operations during onboarding/training.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional .NET development experience.
- Strong C# and SQL Server skills (including stored procedures).
- Experience with .NET Core 3.1+ and .NET 5+.
- Familiarity with legacy .NET Framework applications.
- Front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Server administration experience (big plus).
- Exposure to TypeScript and modern JS libraries.
- Experience in regulated or fast-paced industries (e.g., e-commerce, healthcare).
- Familiarity with DevOps or cloud technologies.
