We're partnering with a leading food and beverage manufacturer to hire an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily plant operations across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental performance for a three-shift operation.
- Drive cost reduction and productivity through effective resource utilization.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven problem solving.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align goals and optimize plant-wide performance.
- Support budgeting and financial planning to maximize operational efficiency.
- Champion safety initiatives and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in liquid processing.
- Proven success in improving operations while maintaining daily performance.
- Strong understanding of plant functions including production, quality, maintenance, and materials.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Syspro) and process improvement tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
