Role: Principal Engineer (Delta V Automation)

📍 Thousand Oaks, CA | Onsite | 3-Year Contract

💲 $55–$61/hr W2 | Potential for Extension

🧠 About the Role:

As a Principal Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing DeltaV systems that support cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will:

✅ Develop and maintain process control automation using DeltaV DCS

✅ Lead root cause analyses and troubleshoot complex system issues

✅ Support NPI/NTI initiatives and continuous improvement projects

✅ Ensure system health, cybersecurity, and resiliency

✅ Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, and IT functions

🧩 Must-Have Skills:

✔️ 4–5+ years of direct hands-on DeltaV experience in pharma manufacturing

✔️ Expert knowledge of batch control & recipe management

✔️ Proficiency with OPC, Profibus, EIP, WIOC, DeviceNet integration

✔️ Experience with virtual infrastructure configuration & troubleshooting

🔍 Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with PLC systems and DeltaV system administration
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with medical device development and combination products a plus

📅 Additional Info:

• Onsite role (5 days/week) at Thousand Oaks, CA
• Minimal on-call support (rotational, ~1hr/week every 7 weeks)
• Work with cross-functional teams and drive innovations in automation and device technology
• Emphasis on employment stability and long-term commitment
