Job Description

 Production & Shipping Specialist – Houseplant Care Products (Full-Time) | $18-20/hr

 About Us:

Perfect Plantista was founded in 2020 after many frustrating attempts to find an effective, natural solution for houseplant pests. Since then, we've grown from a basement bedroom to occupying over 1,000 sq. ft. in the ISU Research Park in Ames. We’re a small but passionate team dedicated to making plant care easier and safer with sustainable solutions. Our mission is simple: to help plant enthusiasts—both pros and beginners—nurture happier, healthier houseplants with natural alternatives to chemical-heavy products.

Key Responsibilities:

 Production Duties:

• Operate semi-automated machines to label and fill plastic and glass bottles
• Cap, label, and prepare products for packaging

 Shipping Duties:

• Pack orders for shipment
• Transport products using carts
• Ensure products are packed securely and meet quality standards

Other Duties:

• General housekeeping to maintain a clean workspace
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned

Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking a dependable, motivated individual who’s eager to contribute to our growing

team. A love for houseplants is a plus!

 Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be comfortable operating a Windows PC or Mac
• Ability to sit, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Reliable, adaptable to change, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

 Perks & Benefits:

• 80 hours of PTO after 90 days
• Paid holidays
• We're actively exploring health insurance options to support our team as we grow
• As a growing company, there’s room for you to expand your skills and take on new responsibilities as we scale. We're looking for someone to grow with us!

 How to Apply:

If you’re a detail-oriented, hands-on individual who’s excited about sustainable solutions and houseplant care, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today!
