Position Details 📅
This is an ongoing temporary role, Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM. For the right candidate, this position offers a seamless transition to a permanent role. Compensation for locum providers is $45-$50 per hour for single column coverage and $60-$65 per hour for double column coverage — double column coverage is preferred! 💰💪
Responsibilities ✅
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and preventive care. 🦷🪥
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive maintenance. 📚✨
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to assess oral health conditions. 📸
- Assist in diagnosing oral health issues and recommend treatment and follow-up plans. 🩺
- Maintain accurate patient records, including charting dental conditions and treatment notes. 🗂️🖊️
- Build strong, trusting relationships with patients to foster comfort and confidence in their care. 🤝😊
- Stay up to date on the latest dental practices and participate in continuing education. 🎓📈
Requirements 📋
- Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). 📜
- Exceptional clinical skills with expertise in preventive and therapeutic dental procedures. 🦷🛠️
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and engage patients effectively. 🗣️💬
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment. 🤝
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in patient care. 🔍📅
- Experience with dental software and electronic charting is a plus. 💻🖥️
