Registered Nurse – Mother-Baby Nurse

Qualifications:

Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in maternal and newborn nursing.
BLS and NRP certification required.
Strong ability to provide patient-centered, family-focused care.
Experience in lactation support and maternal health education.

Duties:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for postpartum mothers and newborns.
Assist with newborn assessments, including weight checks and APGAR scoring.
Educate families on newborn care, safe sleep, and feeding practices.
Monitor mothers for postpartum hemorrhage, infections, or mental health concerns.
Collaborate with lactation consultants for breastfeeding support.
Administer immunizations and medications for newborns as required.
Document patient care and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
