Insight Global is seeking Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapists for a major healthcare client to support operations at their main trauma hospital in South Jersey. This role involves working independently in respiratory within a multidisciplinary team. A typical day begins with receiving a handoff report, where the outgoing staff introduces patients and their family members. The day starts by prioritizing patients based on acuity, ventilator needs, and complexity, followed by a full chest wall exam, lung auscultation, documentation of findings, ordering stat settings, and billing for productivity. After the initial rounds, medical rounds are conducted with the interdisciplinary team. The transport team then handles trauma alerts, myocardial infarctions (STEMI), and neuro events (brain bleeds) requiring quick intervention. Following the second rounds, it’s time for lunch. Post-lunch, other interventions such as bedside bronchoscopies and tracheostomies are performed. The third set of assessments is conducted every four hours in the ICU. The day concludes with a handoff report to the oncoming staff. The Respiratory Therapists will treat no more than 12 patients per shift on a unit.
Units: Nursery/NICU, Adult Acute Care, Critical Care
Shifts: 3x12/ week - 2 day shift, multiple night shift openings
