Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP TM Functional Lead Consultant to support a large-scale SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation in the distribution sector. This is a client-facing role involving active engagement with business stakeholders, driving end-to-end solution design, and leading offshore teams through implementation and go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business process workshops and gather requirements during the Explore phase
Design and configure end-to-end SAP TM solutions (Basic & Advanced)
Integrate SAP TM with SAP eWM, SD, MM, and third-party logistics systems
Define and manage RICEFW objects
Create project plans for implementation, testing, and go-live support
Provide hands-on configuration across TM sub-modules:
Transportation Planning
Freight Order Management
Carrier Selection
Freight Cost Calculation & Settlement
Route & Load Optimization
Scheduling & Resource Management
Collaborate with other SAP streams (OTC, eWM, RTR) to ensure cross-functional alignment
Lead offshore delivery teams through testing and deployment phases
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years as SAP TM Lead
Deep knowledge of SAP TM functionality and configuration
Proven experience in large-scale SAP TM implementations
Strong understanding of integration points with SAP SD, MM, and eWM
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

SAP TM Certification
