Are you a licensed Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to make a difference in students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide school-based interpreting services from the comfort of your home. This is a 1099 contract position with a competitive pay range of $35 - $40 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpreting services to K-12 students via teletherapy.
Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers.
Interpret classroom instructions, discussions, and other school activities.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Requirements:
Completion of a tech screen with Vocovision.
Valid Educational Sign Language Interpreting license in the state of Alabama.
Valid Educational Sign Language Interpreting license in the state of home residence.
EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 3.0 and successful completion of the written test.
Professional and general liability insurance.
Experience with teletherapy preferred.
