Senior Mechanical Engineer – Custom Automation
We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of high-precision, custom automation systems . This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking machines from concept through build and commissioning .
What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical design of automated machinery using SolidWorks
- Develop concepts, models, drawings, and manufacturing-ready documentation
- Collaborate with controls, electrical, and manufacturing teams
- Perform engineering analysis (GD&T, tolerances, materials, stress)
- Support build, debug, and commissioning with hands-on problem solving
- Mentor junior engineers and improve design standards
What You Bring
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in custom automation or special machinery
- Strong SolidWorks expertise and project leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of mechanisms, pneumatics, machining, and fabrication
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
