We are looking for an energetic Senior Tax Specialist who is ready to play a crucial role in our growing team.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and review tax returns and supporting work papers for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts
- Ensure clients comply with Federal, State, and local regulations and filings
- Communicate with clients regarding project status and information requests
- Recommend tax strategies through detailed research and analysis of current tax laws
- Assist with year-end tax planning and projections to increase client awareness
- Work on special tasks and projects that will undoubtedly arise on a regular basis, including attending client meetings or calls in a support role
- Build relationships with our clients and with us! We have personalities, really!
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in Federal, State, and Local tax
- Someone with experience in preparation, review, and planning for personal and corporate level taxes
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
- Someone with confidence in communicating with clients on various complex tax and accounting topics
- Someone with exceptional attention to and love of detail and all things organized
- Strong time management and multitasking skills in order to meet and exceed all deadlines
- Someone with excellent research and analytical skills for solving complex tax issues
- Experience with cloud-based accounting softwares and tools is a plus
