Are you a skilled Sign Language Interpreter with a passion for supporting students? We have an exciting remote opportunity for a licensed Sign Language Interpreter to work with K-12 students from the comfort of your home. This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences.
Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpreting services to K-12 students via teletherapy.
Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and peers.
Interpret classroom instructions, discussions, and other school activities.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student success.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of the services provided.
Requirements:
Valid Educational Sign Language Interpreting license in Alabama and your state of residence.
EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 3.0 and successful completion of the written test.
Professional and general liability insurance.
Experience with teletherapy preferred.
