Responsible for operating equipment in Surface Mount Technology Area

Run Mycronic|MyData pick and place machines.

Access and run computer programs for SMT equipment.

Load feeders for SMT equipment and wash boards as needed.

Set-up and run screen printer.

Set up and run reflow oven.

Work from prints, process sheets, procedures, and|or engineering instructions to ensure that assemblies are built in compliance with applicable workmanship standards.

Meet all company quality standards, paying careful attention to process control.

Make suggestions to improve quality where needed.

Monitor the operation of equipment to ensure that assemblies are built to print.

Inspect printed solder paste and component alignment for accuracy.

Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class.

Perform manual placement of SMT components when needed.

Inspect product using microscope, halo light, and X-Ray as required.

Troubleshooting the pick and place machine when issues occur.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Assembly: 1 year (Required)
• Mycronic/MyData pick&place machines: 1 year (Required)
• Access and Run computer programs for SMT machines: 1 year (Required)
• Set up and Run Screen Printers: 1 year (Required)
• Set up and Run Reflow Ovem: 1 year (Required)
• Work from Prints and Engineering Instructions: 1 year (Required)
• Inspect product using microscope,halo light or x-ray: 1 year (Required)
