Job Title: Sous Chef (Temporary with Full-Time Potential)

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This is a temporary role with the strong potential to transition into a full-time position after approximately six months. The full-time role would include seasonal travel opportunities during the off-season to support other culinary initiatives and pop-ups.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven chef to contribute to an environment with a strong focus on excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team to uphold culinary excellence and consistency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with the ownership and front-of-house team to create memorable dining experiences
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure the use of high-quality, seasonal ingredients
- Innovate and execute fine dining-level dishes that reflect the brand's identity
Requirements:
- Must have fine dining experience with a proven track record of leadership in a high-performance culinary environment
- Minimum 4 years in a professional kitchen with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and inventory control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for hospitality, creativity, and continuous improvement
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Willingness to travel seasonally if the role transitions to full-time
