Summary Do you love spending time with amazing two year olds? Looking for part time work that is rewarding and fun? Courthouse Christian Preschool is the place to be! We are looking for a two year old assistant to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. We offer paid time off, paid holidays, Christmas Break, Spring Break, summers off. Duties *Support the classroom teacher in a manner consistent with the philosophy and curriculum of the school
*Treat each child with dignity and respect.
*Recognize and consider the individual needs of each child in relation to culture and social-economic background, abilites, learning styles, etc.
*Help children learn to think creatively, to solve problems independently, and to respect themselves and others
*Share the love of Christ
*Understand and embrace the developmentally appropriate behaviors of two year old children
*Assist with potty independence and diaper changing
*Able to play on the floor, lift children and dance like no one is watching!
Requirements *Must be at least 18 years of age
*Willingness to learn about child development: required 20 hours of training per school year
*Have the ability to relate to children, peers, and parents
*Willingness to complete CPR and First Aid Training
*Willingness to complete required background checks.
Nice To Haves *Certificate in Early Childhood
*Experience in a classroom at a fully licensed childcare
*Experience with two year olds
