Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Warehouse Manager to launch and oversee our new fulfillment center in Houston, Texas. As the first hire on-site, you'll be responsible for establishing warehouse operations, leading the team, and ensuring the smooth and accurate dispatch of over 500 orders per day.

This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce and senior leadership in the UAE, with full ownership of warehouse operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage all warehouse operations at the Houston site
• Oversee receiving, inventory control, and warehouse layout optimization
• Utilize our custom Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain inventory accuracy and product traceability
• Ensure timely and efficient dispatch of 500+ daily orders from eBay and other platforms
• Hire, train, and lead a small warehouse and dispatch team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
• Track and report KPIs; identify opportunities for process improvement
• Develop scalable, tech-enabled workflows to support growth
• Stay hands-on and actively involved in daily operations as needed

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role
• Industry experience in recycling and/or footwear is required
• Demonstrated success managing high-volume fulfillment operations (e.g., Amazon-style logistics)
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Proficiency with warehouse tools, scanners, and WMS platforms
• Problem-solver with a hands-on, proactive approach

Nice to Have

• Experience fulfilling orders via eBay, Shopify, or other online marketplaces
• Background in setting up or scaling warehouse operations from scratch
• Knowledge of reverse logistics and second-hand goods processing
