Water/Wastewater Engineer (PE or EIT)
Location: Woodbury, NJ
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000, depending on experience
We're hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineer—either a licensed PE or an EIT—to join a solid, experienced team working on a variety of municipal water and sewer projects. If you’ve got experience with design, permitting, and construction oversight in this space, we’d like to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Support or lead technical work for water and sewer infrastructure projects
- Handle design work, calculations, reports, and cost estimates
- Typical projects include:
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
- Potable water storage tanks
- Water distribution systems
- Pump stations
- Sanitary sewer rehabilitation
- Support municipal clients and collaborate with senior engineers
- Work through regulatory permitting processes
- Use or support water distribution modeling (experience a plus)
What we're looking for:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NJ or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills
- Experience with AutoCAD and WaterCAD is a plus
- Knowledge of water distribution modeling is a bonus
