Job Description
Junior Water Resource Engineer
- Duration: 6 month contract to hire
- Pay Rate: $35-$40
- Location: Irvine (92614) or Pasadena (91107)
- Schedule: 5 days onsite
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in water resources, water quality monitoring, civil design and/or watershed management
- Experience with Civil 3D or ArcGIS or AutoCAD
- Experience with Project/construction documentation
Day to Day:
- Perform field investigations and inspections
- Conduct H&H analyses
- Conduct water resources modeling efforts
- Perform water quality sampling and reports
- Analyze watershed data using GIS and statistical techniques
- Develop or prepare descriptive charts, figures/maps, and tables/matrices
- Perform writing assignments to contribute to project documentation such as memos and reports
- Support design analysis through the application of quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents (plans and specifications)
- Develop quantity take-offs for construction bid items
- Support cost-benefit analysis
- Assist with quality control and assurance
