Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate according to print specifications using MIG and TIG welding methods
- Operate fabrication machinery such as brake presses, shears, and plate rollers
- Assemble large fabricated units
- Set up and adjust welders, identifying steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes
- Recognize common steel alloys and apply the appropriate welding procedures
Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in a metal fabrication environment
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of welder setup, steel wire alloys, and gas mixes
- Experience with operating brake presses, shears, and plate rollers is preferred
Additional Information:
- Full-time, on-site position with a 10-hour shift schedule
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
